I was born in Sydney, raised in Canberra & after spending time living abroad in Asia, now currently reside in Melbourne, Australia.
I developed an interest as an illustrator and cartoonist from a very young age.
It started simply with incessant doodling on everything from phone books, cereal boxes, newspapers, school books and even the underside of the kitchen table, which drove my mother crazy.
I never going to do anything else and was destined to pursue a creative career.
Whilst studying, I won some early awards for my design work, and it was during this time that I also discovered my love of life drawing and painting.
But this passion would have to wait, until I earned a "proper living"..
After 25 years as a professional graphic designer, with experience in print, digital and broadcast design for advertising agencies, Channel 9 and my own business, I have now happily returned to focusing on my own art which I have found hugely rewarding.
My philosophy is simple….draw freely, paint boldly, no black. I hope you enjoy my art.
